I was raised christian but I don't practice any religion anymore. I believe in God, but in a weird kind of way. My personal beliefs are : Be happy, Never hurt anyone, Be grateful for what you have, give what you can to those less fortunate, always share chocolate chip cookies! If only the rest of the world could practice these few simple rules.

I can only speak for now. I was saved on March 4,1999 and served God well. Not saying I was perfect, but I was so glad to be saved and knowing someone loved me like that thrilled my heart. I have been out of fellowship with God and Jesus now for 4 years and man what a mess I have made of my life now. I guess in ways I get jealous when I talk to some of my friends from church when I hear what God has been doing in the church and in their lives. I feel like I am lost again, but I know Jesus hasnt lost me. I have lost myself. I wished I could give you some good advice, but even I am in need of some advice.

Yes I am sure there are some people out there that feel the same way you do .I ask for his guidance daily if it wasn't for God being in my life ...Life would not be worth living .If you have inner peace then you must be doing some thing right .

There are many like you out there... There are many more who think they are "christians" than there are those who Truly are....

A christian is one who has come to God in The Way He proscribes and received His free gift of Salvation... And Knows The Truth...

By your own words you have not done this... Thus you are not a "Christian"

This dose not prevent you from becomeing one If you ever decide you need to learn how to play by God's rules

God makes the rules... play by God's rules or suffer the conseqences

I invite you to visit my website... you will find a page titled Who is a Christian. It might give you a start.

follow your own heart and do what you feel is right for you. remember there are many ways to reach the same destination as one can walk, run, ride a bike, take a car, a bus, a plane, a train, etc. yet each will arrive at the same destination. we all have free will and freedom to worship as we please. the only basic difference between any religious belief system and another are the rituals and ceremonies and perhaps the NAME they refer to GOD.

Well, that means your not a christian. You need to realize that your whole life is dependent upoun the God, who you do not desire. The truth is you are nothing without Jesus. The sooner you realize this, the better off you will be.

No, some of us try to seek his guidance and live by his rules...it is though sometimes but we try to do it because we love him, that is the difference.
If you just have heard about him, you would not care, you have to know and love him to live a different way
