I have shoulder length hair. Not sure if the color will help with any suggestions but I have Dark hair with a chunk of light blond and it is layered.

I wore an up-do that was magnificent! I have long hair. The hairdresser used a curling iron and left long curls hanging in the back and rolled side and front curls up into a bun. Not a tight bun, but some curls wrapped around the base and some dangling - very feminine! As a final touch, she put a single clear bead on a bobby pin and put these all around the bun.

Big curls, half up, half down would look really good. I have the same hair as you do and I just did mine for a wedding on Saturday. It lookes really good with the blond in it.

Go and have it done at a salon. That way you will have a cute up-do without the hassel of trying to do it yourself. I had my hair done for the last wedding for $20 and she came up with the idea all on her own. They usually have books you can search in also to get some ideas.

You should try scrunching it. Layers look really good with scrunched hair. With wet hari take a bunch of gel and squeeze the hair together with your hands. After you've done all of your hair spray it with a lot of hairspray. It will look great.

Good Luck!!!

you can do an up-do with many flowers in it, to hide the clips you will use to keep the layers up. let a piece of hair hang down and curl it. that looks very eloquent and sexy at the same time!

Pull your hair back in a bun , slicked down with a light hairdressing to give it a smooth glossy wet look shine, very sexy

It wouldn't hurt to consult the Bride as to what she might like you to do, since it's her wedding, maybe she wants a totally uniform look for her attendants, like everyone haiving their hair in french rolls, etc. Sleek and classic like Grace Kelly look always works and you won't look dated in photos 30 years from now.

Try separating the top half of your hair from the bottom half, do a french braid with the top half and leave the rest loose. :)
