I dated my bestfriend (of 7 years) despite all my best judgement. He said he didn't want to date anymore, and then he got back together with his ex the next day (and f#cked her as well). We dated for about a year. I have been psycho this past week, crying constantly, and i am depressed, very badly. And he has been so distant, as if he is a completely different person. I told him I can;t be friends with him anymore, it hurts too much, plus he just doesn't act like cares at all. what should I do? I miss my bestfriend....... help! he also had the nerve of accusing me a bad friend, because im not happy for him??? we just broke up 7 days ago!!! opinions? advice? help!

You are going to have to give this a bit more time...you are still too close to the situation to be a good friend, and to the ex / current GF, you are a threat. Just give it more time, and be careful not to get into any cat-fights with his old/new girlfriend, but at the same time, support him.

In time, he will become your best friend again, but keep in mind that when you eventually find a husband, he should be your best friend as well...but this does not mean that all best friends make good husbands.

omg, that's terrible. i know the feeling (not the same situation.. but the feeling). It's so horrible to lose a best friend. Another bf, i'm sure you can find; but, to lose a friend is so painful.

I can't offer anything more than sympathy. i can't even offer an explanation. wouldn't it all be better if there were some explanation for such calousness?

Get on with your lfe he's not worth it. I know it's tough but getting all depresed is'nt worth it. you're playing rite into his hands. Back off forget about him. Get a new boyfriend get a new best friend. move on. Good luck.

once an ex, always an ex, he should never have gotten back with his ex.
