I am not an atheist. But dozens have Christians on this site have called me one. Why are they mean and dishonest? I have seen them do this to others also. If I don't believe in Noah's Ark, I'm an atheist, according to these ignorant bigots.

Hmmm we could qualify your answer by saying "some" Christians call you
an atheist. I consider myself to be a Christian and I wouldn't call you an atheist. Not all of us are "mean, dishonest and ignorant bigots??? :o( Not
ALL of us are I hope. You can find mean, dishonest, ignorant, bigots anywhere in any social class, in many religions and among those who are not religious too. I have found most who don't believe in the Bible just have not been provided with information to prove it. Anyway, I welcome a good
conversation from anyone who enjoys the flip side of the issue.

Matthew sixteen:sixteen-18. Jesus says that the rock the church is built on is the confession that "Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the residing God." you is in simple terms not waiting to be a Christian without believing that. That parallels John 3:sixteen. The be wakeful "church" in Roman circumstances meant citizenry. So translating the be conscious into modern-day-day words capacity which you is in simple terms not waiting to be a citizen of the dominion of Heaven without believing that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the residing God. some thing of it, Jesus is God, isn't required, yet optimum in all likelihood if somebody reads John a million and John 8:fifty 8, they're going to understand that too. awareness would not come without be conscious. And Jesus would not anticipate that. additionally be wakeful that Jesus would not require which you "have self assurance that the Bible is God's be wakeful" the two. John 3:sixteen would not say, "For whosoever believes that the Bible is God's be wakeful won't perish yet have eternal life." Worship Jesus. do not worship the Bible. God's be wakeful is a residing being, not printer's ink on an internet site.

Intolerance for any religious belief besides their own. It's really that simple. If you aren't a Christian you might as well be an Atheist in their bigoted eyes. I will say "some" of them, there are open minded Christians out there, we just don't see too many of them in this forum.

Why did they call you an atheist? Because of your previously stated questions which are obviously in direct assault on their beliefs, and more hateful than you deem all christians to be? Or were you just...being funny? You criticize others and call them stupid, uneducated, that their faith is ridiculous, and expect them to not say anything back. Well, I say, that you stop spreading hatred, and start asking some questions that are worth answering. I wouldnt call you an atheist, but I would call you an instigator of hate.

And on the other hand atheists make a game of informing everyone that they are crazy to believe in anything that can't be analyzed down to the tiniest degree and pass a dozen tests.

I am neither a Christian or an atheist but I see both sides as relentlessly hammering away at one another.

Because you are dealing with a group on here that is not a true representation of the Christian belief. They are mostly young and probably still trying to figure the world out even though they believe honestly and truly that they understand everything they are contending....it is a truth of being young that your views must be the only correct answer and that those who do not share them must be the opposite....thus if you do not agree with them you are labeled....it is one of the things that makes growing up so difficult, school so rough at times, drives parents and teachers crazy, and you to ask the question...

I AM A CHRISTIAN.
I HAVE NEVER CALLED ANYONE AN ATHEISTS.
I AM NOT MEAN ,DISHONEST,NOR AN IGNORANT BIGOT.
I HAVE BEEN ON THIS SIGHT FOR A SHORT TIME.
I HAVE SEEN A LOT OF NAME CALLING.IT GOES BOTH WAYS.
TRUE CHRISTIANS ARE FULL OF LOVE AND SEEK TO SHARE THAT LOVE WITH OTHERS.
THE LOVE OF JESUS.
BUT CHRISTIANS HAVE FOUND ,OVER THE YEARS ,TO BE STRONG.
WE WILL NO LONGER BE THROWN TO THE LIONS.
GOD SAID BE MEEK-- NOT WEAK.

Well I don;'t hink that because you don't believe in Noah's Ark mean you're an athiest. What I don't understand is WHY you don't believe in Noah's Ark... or in actuality... if you don't believe in Noah's Ark why would you believe in anything else the Bible says. The Bible is supposed to be the book of truth, if you think Noah's Ark isn't true, why would you believe in anything else it says?

And yes I am a Christian, and I do believe in EVERYTHING the Bible says..... in case you're wondering

nature of the beast. everyone has a right to believe in what they want. unfortunately, not everyone is as open minded as the next. most organized religions believe if they recruit, save, bible thump any non believer THEY will gain redemption for THEIR sins and go to THEIR god's heaven.

believe in who/what you want as long you are happy. ignore the negative people. faith should not be insulting, rude or bigoted.

If you reject God's offer, you are lost. All who reject still have the chance to accept God's offer. Christians call all who reject God The Lost... Atheists are those who self proclaim they do not believe there is a God... That is the worlds word for those... They indeed are lost... unless they come to the realization that there is indeed a creator and that they are answerable to Him. And come to God in The Way He proscribes.

God makes the rules... play by God's rules or suffer the consequences
