Why is it that some people believe that their so-called loving God does not hate sin? He wiped out all of existence once, with exception of all aboard Noah's Ark, because He was disgusted with the sin. He also made it known He will punish sin in his rightousness. Then why do some of you believe that evil deserves a place in heaven with the people who are "good"(lets just say) and not in Hell?
That's like saying the evil man who murdered your family because he believes in satan should be allowed to live in your house. Please explain your logic to this, I am curious.

I know sin cannot enter the kingdom of heaven. This is a question for the people that reply to questions saying all people regardless of what they are and do, without repentance because they don't believe it's needed, are saved by their "loving God". My God does not say anything of the sort. He will punish the sinners who don't come to him. I'm amazed at it because we have the judicial system that the same people expect criminals to be punished for their crimes.

The commandment you are referring to is a simple one. No other God's. Ones YOU have created to fulfill your needs and desires and to get away with sin. Made up! They are really there except in your mind. God is the ONLY God and no other is there. If you are seeking deities as you put it, you are putting made up God's before the only God. Devil is sneaky. I am awake too, really.

First, somebody who believes in "Satan" will most likely NOT kill your family. I am not a Satanist, but heard from some, and they are peaceful people who honour Pan or the Green Man. All these crazy stories about "the devil" were made up around 1300 years ago to scare simple-minded, rural Europeans into christianity.
Now to your main question: I do believe in my deities because I am having a direct contact to them, they are protecting and blessing me, and when I was asking for anything, I always got it, no matter how incrediblae this might be.
So, yes, I do believe in deities, because they have proven to me they are there and care for me.
But that has of course nothing to do with Jachweh. I stay away from him, in my opinion he is an impostor.
Just the fact that he pretends to be "the only god existing" should make you suspecious.
Isn't your first commandment "you must not worship other gods before me"??? When he is the only god existing, why does he need to forbid you the other gods ??? That should wake you up.

umm...if he had wiped out all of existence at the point the Bible implies he flooded the Earth, it would be pretty much statistically impossible to have repopulated the earth with as many people, plants, and animals there are now (you know since it takes 9 months after getting pregnant to give birth and there were only 2 of every animal). Rabbits probablly would have wiped the earth out again because of fast they breed. They would have used up all the resources and killed the world.

I hope you re-examine your own Logic. God hates sin so he drowned 99.99999% percent of humanity. Nice! And the little kids: What "disgusted" him about them? What exactly was THEIR sin? (And spare me the "mystery" routine. If it's a "mystery" then why do you assume you know anything about it at all?)
Put another way, this evil man you use as an example, should we also kill his kids? Or send them to hell?

It is very interesting that people like to be proud, even if they don't know what they have to know...pride is the opposite of modesty. When you want to be modest you begin to understand few things, if you fight with yourself- with the pride in you- you start loving your neighbors...and you will want to pray for all people(even for your enemies). May God help us all understand what we have to understand.

I agree,
But I also don't think preaching to people all the time helps.
We should lead by example and not judge others.
In short, show the Love that Jesus showed us.
Peace!

I think that it is called forgiveness. How big is your heart? What can you not forgive? God's heart is larger, I believe, so why can you not believe his power of forgiveness is larger.
Wow, and I consider myself spiritual and not religious.
