If you understand the true meaning of Hell, then you will know that everyone that death takes, goes to Hell.
Definition: The word “hell” is found in many Bible translations. In the same verses other translations read “the grave,” “the world of the dead,” and so forth. Other Bibles simply transliterate the original-language words that are sometimes rendered “hell”; that is, they express them with the letters of our alphabet but leave the words untranslated. What are those words? The Hebrew she’ohl' and its Greek equivalent hai'des, which refer, not to an individual burial place, but to the common grave of dead mankind; also the Greek ge'en·na, which is used as a symbol of eternal destruction. However, both in Christendom and in many non-Christian religions it is taught that hell is a place inhabited by demons and where the wicked, after death, are punished (and some believe that this is with torment).
Does the Bible indicate whether the dead experience pain?
Eccl. 9:5, 10: “The living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all .
Does the Bible indicate that the soul survives the death of the body?
Ezek. 18:4: “The soul* that is sinning—it itself will die.”
What sort of people go to the Bible hell?
Does the Bible say that the wicked go to hell?
Ps. 9:17, KJ: “The wicked shall be turned into hell,* and all the nations that forget God.” (*“Hell,” 9:18 in Dy; “death,” TEV; “the place of death,” Kx; “Sheol,” AS, RS, NE, JB, NW.)
Does the Bible also say that upright people go to hell?
Job 14:13, Dy: “[Job prayed:] Who will grant me this, that thou mayst protect me in hell,* and hide me till thy wrath pass, and appoint me a time when thou wilt remember me?” (God himself said that Job was “a man blameless and upright, fearing God and turning aside from bad.” Job 1:8.) (*“The grave,” KJ; “the world of the dead,” TEV; “Sheol,” AS, RS, NE, JB, NW.)
Acts 2:25-27, KJ: “David speaketh concerning him [Jesus Christ], . . . Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell,* neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.” (The fact that God did not “leave” Jesus in hell implies that Jesus was in hell, or Hades, at least for a time, does it not?)
Does anyone ever get out of the Bible hell?
Rev. 20:13, 14, KJ: “The sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell* delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire.” (So the dead will be delivered from hell. Notice also that hell is not the same as the lake of fire but will be cast into the lake of fire.)
Is eternal torment of the wicked compatible with God’s personality? What would you think of a parent who held his child’s hand over a fire to punish the child for wrongdoing? “God is love.” (1 John 4:8) Would he do what no right-minded human parent would do? Certainly not! Simply put, the word Hell is translated from the Hebrew word Sheol, which means the grave, where everyone goes when they die.
Who built hell?
Since Hell is simply mankinds common grave, I assume it would have started when Cain killed Abel, Abel was the first human to die and go to the grave.

Have you ever loved someone who did not return your love? This is God's dilemma. Yes, God is love, but he has enabled we humans to accept it or reject it. Your choice.
What did it feel like the last time you didn't get your own way? If it was something that you wanted very much, you probably felt an emotion that was rather like a fire in your psyche. A kind of burning with resentment. Right?
Well, hell fire is akin to that sort of thing. Hell is existence apart from the presence of God. Since God is the author and giver of every good thing in our world, then being totally cut off from him, by our own choice, would be to exist in a world where we were always wanting but never attaining. An existence of no hope, constant resentment and hatted. Hell fire indeed.

Okay, this is a dark part about being a christian is to separate to bull from the bible. Let me show you a passage about death...
Revelations 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
You see, Hell fire refers to what god is going to do to the unfaithful and wicked. No, there is no eternal torment, but the wicked are going to hell. Hell is a place without God. and in the end of days, Death and hell are going to be cast into the lake of fire. Burnt up and no more.
Now, back in the dark ages when people didn't read so well, the church changed that to me " either follow God or Suffer and eternal toasting " The fear factor needed to get the ignorant into the pews.
Sad but true. I hope this helps

For one thing hell has not been created yet. It will not be be until judgement day and the wicked is cast in with Satan and his angles who rebelled against God in the first earth age. You also do not burn in hell forever. The hell you speak of IS a literal place and you will be consumed, but the tragedy is the ETERNAL SEPERATION for God. Read ZECHARIAH 14:12 if you can understand it. I feel this will make you take notice what God states and HIS feelings.

actually the Bible never says God is going to torture anyone in Hell. Hell eventually will be thrown into the lake of fire. The reason it will be so awful is because everyone there will be eternally separated from God. That and people will torture each other. God doesn't send anyone to hell. If they choose to reject Him in this world, He gives them what they want after death.

NO-----The hellfire doctrine is not what the Bible teaches. Death is likened to sleeping in the Bible. Jesus's friend Lazarus had died and this is the account at Luke 11:11-14: "These things said he: and after that he saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep. Then said his disciples, Lord, if he sleep, he shall do well. Howbeit Jesus spake of his death: but they thought that he had spoken of taking of rest in sleep. Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead. The Bible tells us that the dead do not feel anything
Eccl.9:10: " For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing--"
So the dead are not suffering--only in a deep sleep until God through his Son resurrects them back to life and there will be a resurrection of both good & bad people. Acts 24:15: "And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.
Hell is the common grave of mankind--Jesus has the keys of death and hell. He will resurrect all who are in hell and then they will be judged--some to everlasting life and the rest will be put out of existance. God is love and would never torture imperfect humans---"Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love." (1 John 4:8)
Satan tries to paint God as sadistic and cruel. This he has accomplished through the false teachings of Christendom.

NO.. that would be like a parent teaching a child that a stove is hot by putting their hand on the stove... Also Jesus (a perfect man) states that he was in Hell .. so if there is a hell is there any hope for anyone else to escape that punishment no matter how good they are?

Such beliefs are ignorance on stilts. If God is all knowing and compassionate he would never have allowed creation of places similar to Nazi concentration camps(only humans can excel in such atrocities) and call it Hell and Hell-fire.

The "blameless, ignorant and gullible persons on this planet" that you're speaking approximately are the atheists. They are those which might be nervous by means of the idea of hell, they're those who speak approximately it and convey it up on YA always, this time incorporated. As for the Christians like myself, we don't have any worry of Hell, quite often for the reason that we had no intentions of going there. I worship God, for the reason that God is wonderful, God is first-class, God is energy, God is gentle, God is knowledge, and God is love. I recognize God as my Father, My Savior, My Comforter, and my pal, so no worry right here. Admit to yourselves, you're those who introduced this matter up.

I don't believe that God is tormenting anyone period. People send themselves to Hell by rejecting God. People send themselves to Hell when they continue to live a life of sin.
