I would like to state in advance that this is NOT a reflection of my own situation so please dont give me advise as i am fine...i answered another question yesterday with the quote 'it is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all ' and i wondered how many had loved and lost and regretted it...

I think that EVERYONE has at least once in thier life. Myself included. It was like three years ago it happened to me, and I'm still crazy about the girl.

I have. In fact the relationship never really took off as he was married at the time but wanted to leave his wife for me, but I refused to be the cause of the split up as I knew I'd find it very hard to live with myself after that, so I left. He since then left his wife anyway (or rather she kicked him out), and went on to have (and still has) another relationship with another woman. Trouble is, I still love him deeply, and now regret bitterly not letting him just leave her for me. And I always will.

I have in an argument, after a couple of hours I called to apologize because I really acted stupid but then he had no intention of getting back together, it broke my heart. It took me six months to get him back. But then I broke up with him after a year. Love was all gone. Still don't know why though. He would have been the perfect match...

I have loved and lost, but I don't regret it. It's obvious that it wasn't meant to be. I always look at it as a learning experience.

I have. The only thing is when I think about it I don't get all depressed about it. Everything happens for a reason. If you guys were meant to be you'll find eachother again.

i do it every time i get a nice man. as soon as the first couple a weeks are out of the way and your finally comfortable with each other i get bored end it and funnily enough always regret it!!! especially when you see them with a new girlfriend

yes. When i was younger i regreted breaking up with this one guy, because above all he was so nice. I got my second chance with him, and with in 2 days of dating him again, all the same issues were resurfaced.

Yes. I left my college girlfriend for no good reason and regretted that for a long time afterward.

I regret leaving my ex. but we did fight alot and even though he still loves me I don't think i'll get back together with him. lifes complicated enough and you always fall in love again anyway.
