Complexity does not require design. It only requires a selection mechanism acting upon variance. In the case of Nature the selection mechanism is our own existence.

Fundies tend to be clueless when it comes to math and science. So We need to define things very very simply for them to understand.

The Complexity of a set is loosley defined in mathematics ( Kolmogorov Complexity ) as the minimum size of a computer program needed to uniquely generate that set as output.

If a closed system "A" uniquely generates a closed system "B" then the system A must be at least as complex as the system "B".

So If there is a closed system "God" and it uniquely generated Nature then it must be at least as complex as nature. The Complexity of a System also tells us the number of ways the system could have been otherwise.

So why is this complex god suited to create Nature. If it had nearly infinite ways to be otherwise, why isn't it otherwise. It seems to me the creationists have a much much much bigger problem than anyone claiming a tornado created a 747. They have to produce a god from nothing.

The only logical explaination consistent with the known mathematics of algorithmic information theory, is not this magical god, but that nature is simple and infinite and based on mathematics, and that it is the selection effect of our existence that selected out a complex subset.

Good: Finally one christian ask's an intelligent question.

The answer is Nature is not created, and certainly not from nothing.

How does anything exist? What is the only thing we know of that is logically necessary. The answer is mathematical truth. Nature is mathematical truth. however it doesn't appear to be so because we see so little of it.

Its not up to you to prove anything but intellectually honest people search for the truth wherever it takes them.

A very old, highly intuitive, and still common argument for the existence of God is the Argument from Design. The thrust of the argument is that the ordered complexity exhibited by the universe as a whole, and in particular by living things, is evidence that there must be an intelligent designer, since the existence of such "complexity" cannot be otherwise explained.

Atheist are close-minded bigots that don't understand any of the complexities of faith.

See I can make sweeping generalizations and insults too.

That being said. Try a little out of the box mathematical thinking. I know Im sure you've sat through many a lecture but your applied math seems a little off. For instance notice the concept of infinity doesn't work inside the universe. In real life the concept of infinity plus one = infinity doesn't make sense. Only in theoretical math does the concept of infinity apply OR if we apply it outside the confines of the universe to what is beyond the universe. God created the universe and is therefore very capable of existing outside what we know of as time and space. That is a logical argument outside of the bible for why a creator should not be limited to the confines of time and space and could be considered infinite.

The Bible also happened to correlate this by saying God is from "everlasting to everlasting" implying an infinite God.

Alright now put you math cap back on. Where does something an infinite number of years old begin?

The answer of course is that it never begins it simply is. Therefore God doesn't need a creator.

You might be interested in Godel's incompleteness theorem (for complete systems) or more especially his modal ontological argument. You might also like Leibniz' theodicy for understanding "possible worlds."

The problem with your question is this... If you cannot create nothing out of nothing then--how did anything ever exist? The other big problem is that you are forgetting that it is not up to me to "prove" God exists to you. You cannot prove him with science one way or another. AND___THIS is the biggest problem... God does prove himself over and over again... it is just your choice to reject that.
