i got a my friends new mobile number yesterday but she lives in irland now but there number is one number short to ours and doesnt start with 07, so i cant text or call them can u help

The country code for Ireland is 00353
All irish mobiles start with either 085, 086 or 087, depending on the network. Irish mobile numbers have 10 digits.
When u send a text from your UK mobile you must enter 0035386 or 0035385 or 0035387. No need for roming service on your behalf, it should work without having to register for roaming service

By the way, answer 5 is bullsh... Sorry but its true. If your friend has an irish number please proceed as i explained. If your friend is using a UK number in Ireland you just send a text as normal, without any country codes

Irish mobile numbers are either 087,086 or 085.But when calling a Irish mobile or texting an Irish mobile you don't put the 0 in front so it becomes either 87 86 85.

Irish mobile numbers are different to uk ones. The code is 00353. Drop the first 0 in the irish mobile number and key in the rest. Example 00353863778699.
