Petrodex makes poultry and malt flavored toothpastes for pets that are perfectly safe and my dogs love the taste of the toothpaste. It makes brushing teeth much more pleasant for the dog. Also, not brushing your dog's teeth can lead to periodontal disease by the time the dog is two years old, which in turn can lead to systemic infections and heart disease. I'd much rather take a small risk on cancer (if there is a chance that said report is indeed true and not a bunch of sensationalist bull-plop) and brush my dog's teeth than have the greater chance on losing my beloved pet prematurely to complications arising from periodontal disease. Brushing dogs' teeth is something I wish more pet owners would do.

do not use human toothpaste for dogs. There are lots of doggy toothpaste brands in the market that offer different types of toothpaste specially thought for dogs, they are flavored (beef, chicken, ...) and the ingredients they are made of are not harmful at all for dogs. This toothpaste will help you eliminate the plaque, tartar, germs and bacteria in your dog's mouth.

Don't brush your dogs teeth. Go to www.companiondental.com they sell all natural dental dog treats. Best money you will ever spend. I have been using this product on my Shitzu for the past 10 months and his teeth & breath smell & look amazing. Did you know that 80% of dogs will get some sort of dental disease. There product helps reduce plaque and tarter build up. Check it out you wont regret it. I DONT!!!!!! SPREAD THE WORD!!!!!
