I just got engaged and am looking for a fun and cute way to ask a few friends if they would like to be my bridesmaids. Something inexpensive besides just calling them or taking them to lunch!! Also, if you have any advice for the grooms asking too that would be great!

Maybe you could bake them cupcakes or cookies and suprise them with them, and ask.

Or if you wanted to get really into it, you could bake a cake (or a large cookie) and write it on there with icing.

Another idea would be to ask them to come shopping with you and go to a party store and ask them.... Then they could help you pick out colors, themes, etc.

Good Luck and Congratulations!!!

What about a homemade card? That would be cute. Or how about emailing them inviting them to be your bridesmaids? how about getting them all together and having someone dress as a knight in shining amour with a scroll asking them?

A cool idea would be to give them there bridesmaid gift now instead of at the rehearsal dinner...

You can invite them to a girl's night out, and kind of propose to them, giving them their attendant gift as their "ring".

A lot of champagne and good times!

Congratulations and best wishes.

purchase them each and every a small yet solid container of goodies, and do away with the only interior the middle. replace it with an cheap "pretend" engagement ring and tie a word to it with a ribbon.... OR-- get a gaggle of "common" barbie or Bratz and so on.. and gown them in formal attire with a exceptionally card tied to their waist with a ribbon... in case you hadn't neglected Easter, you have gotten used baskets of Easter Eggs! (its how my hubby proposed-- each and every of the eggs had a candy & love word-- different than a gold on interior the backside of the basket--- that had a hoop and "will you marry me?" word related!) even though you pick for-- you are able to continually mail them rather of each and every of the making use of! OR: manage for each individual to fulfill at an area eating place for Lunch-- communicate over with the administrative and pay forward for a fancy dessert and supply the administrative particular enjoying cards to be delivered with dessert.

I asked my best friend if she would help me pick out a tacky dress for her to wear on my wedding day. At first she looked puzzled, then she realized what I was asking. Of course we picked out a very tasteful, beautiful dress for her to wear.
