I stuck my hand in PP INSIDE a local Store in --Yeah, that's right...and as gross as this may seem... it was actually worse! It was in a flower pot that I was goin to buy--- before I even realized what had happened there was URINE ON MY HAND! And since it's IN the store on an isle, I'm assuming a definate YES to if it's human. It was let's just say obviously there for quite a while so howcome the store employees had not found it yet? Does that show negligance on the part of the store? I had an open wound on part of the finger that was submersed. Therefore, I need to see the Doc to make sure I am not in danger from this, and they will probably want to test me again in about 6 months. I personally don't think I should have to pay these bills---I'm not going to disclose the name of the store yet but what do you think about this situation? What would you do if it happened to you? Would you alert any kind of health people?

You know you've got something to say about this--- so let me hear

OH by the way--- I don't think it's sterile if it's been there for a while. It collects bacteria quickly. GOOGLE IT

i would ******* sue. or bring it up with the store and have them check the security cameras. and that is not the strangest thing i have heard all day.

i just answered a question somebody asked and said they walked into the kitchen and found their son with his pants down with the dog, and he said he was just feeding it peanut butter. i told them yeah he was, it just wasnt from the jar. the funny thing is the question was is peanut butter dangerous to dogs, not why is my son molesting our dog.

It is possible that the urine came from a dog. People commonly bring their pets into stores (now you know why a lot of stores have "no pets" policies.

You really dont have much to worry about with the wound. Its just as if you got dirt or other material in an open wound. Just use a topical antibiotic and you should be just fine.

You would have a VERY hard time winning a case against the store. It is not their legal responsibility to patrol the aisles every 5, 10, or 50 minutes to look for hazards. Unless you could PROVE that the urine was on the ground for a rediculous amount of time, you dont have a case.

ZERO damages (going to the doctor when it is not really necessary does not count as a damage that you can regain in court) + ZERO (or next to zero) fault on the part of the store = ZERO dollars for you.

PEOPLE.... LAWSUITS ARE NOT THE ANSWER TO EVERYTHING!!! DONT BE SO DAMN SUE HAPPY!!

I have been a vendor and serviced Grocery stores, and most all big box stores along with drug stores for the past 25 years.

You would be appalled at what the American public will do in stores and parking lots and anywhere else they can get away with it.

When servicing grocery stores I have found freshly changed nasty diapers stuffed behind boxes on the cereal aisle.. Obviously the parents were just to lazy to place it in a trash can.

I actually found a freshly used CONDOM yes that's what I said, hanging on a peg hook on an aisle in a large discount store.

Once in a national chain Drug store an Elderly Gentleman (I think he was so drugged he had no Idea what he had done) had "shat" himself and it fell out his pants leg all the way through the store.

I would definitely say the a male was guilty in your case, since ladies, we know hitting a little flower pot would be a challenge for us.

Please remember Employees have to clean up
these disgusting events.

Although the one thing I get a chuckle out of is the fact there are CAMERAS in the ceilings all over the store. So they have the honor of doing these disgusting things on tape.

Yes of course I would alert the Department of Health. I am not sure what programs are in your area or how to contact them but I would surely look into it if I were you. I would say that it should have been found by an employee, unfortunately it was found by you the customer. I would say the store is also responsible for your doctor bills. Good Luck to you!! I wish you the best!

i'd pray to each and each evening and be conscious about getting the living house blessed. The pastime marketplace is kinda demanding today. you could to settle for a job you aren't any more satisfied with or will pay below you need. i'm having to attempt this today. I pray you stumble on a good pastime quickly.

I would talk to a lawyer and make the store pay any bills stemming from your incident. If they refused, sue them. I think you have a pretty good case.

Don't worry, urine is sterile. Your body is natural filter system and removes all of the waste before it is passed out of the body.

ughhhh !!!!!...yes that's pretty damn nasty.....i would definitely let the store manager know and possibly the "higher ups"..you should not have to pay the doctor bill....the store would prob. rather pay than get any bad publicity...
