Last Saturday I rode a century. This guy I like drove over thirty minutes to visit me for 10 minutes at the 64.5 mile rest stop. I had no idea what time it would be when I reached that milage. I asked him how long he had waited for me and he said "not long at all" and brought me food! When I left at the next rest stop the workers there said he had waited there for 2 hours. And keep in mind I looked like a sweaty lycra mess and obviously he had nothing to gain, not even hanging out, because I had to ride on.
wow... thats by far the most romantic thing I've ever known.

the most romantic thing i've ever done was my during my freshman year of college i really wanted to go to the beach. i didn't have my car here with me and i didn't want to go all the way home and go to myrtle beach because i go there all the time. the guy i was dating called me saturday morning and told me to get ready because he wanted to take me on a date. i got up and got ready and we left i asked him where we were going and he said to his hometown, i knew he lived like an hour and a half away so i was like fine this will give me a time to rest (i had a rough night partying the night before) i fell asleep and when i woke up i realized we were not in north carolina hence the virginia beach this way signs. he took me to the beach, we got bathing suits, had a picnic by the beach and it was the sweetest day ever!

Proposed to my wife on top of a mountain after a 3.5 hour hike. I brought a little picnic and a Small bottle of whine. It was a beautiful fall day.
I told her a story of how the natives used to see the Adirondacks (mountain range in upstate New York) a barren land of rock. This because there was no stones of any worth but on our way up I found a little stone that caught my eye. That's when I took out the ring. We cried like babies. One of the best days of our lives.

i once walked for half an hour through a torrential rain storm to tescos just to pick some stuff up for an ex of mine. on the way back a lorry ran through a puddle right next to me and almost drowned me (this was just outside her house).
i returned looking like i'd been deep sea diving in my work clothes (those not of a deep sea diving instructor).
she always said it was the little things that counted.
