Jewellery, cigarettes, lipstick, etc. Is this a conscious decision? Unconsciously trying to create an illusion that it'll be more than this once? Or looking for an excuse for a call? Happens nearly all the time.

Women have a nesting instinct and if you've dated the same woman more than once has she left personal items behind the second time too? OR

women are territorial and they want the illusion that if another women visits you she will see you have had company. And of coarse it is a good reason to drop back by saying oh I left my lipstick. Sometimes women will keep leaving stuff behind and before you know it she has moved in!!!

"I think I left my bracelet at your place..."
"I havent seen it."

"Yeah, I could stop by and pick it up...tonight."
Thats the conversation we want to commence by leaving things at guys apartments. And it works every time except for two back firings.
1) they find it BEFORE we leave and hand it to us...I hate that!!
2) They put it in a envelope and tape it outside their door...that happeend to my best friend.
I do that all the time and it works...98 pecent of the time.

I accidentally left my sunglassses. Didn't even realize it until I texted him 2 days later and he told me he kept them. Been trying to get them back (they're $300 Gucci glasses and I really didn't intend on leaving them!!!). Told me yesterday he'd be home around 3:30. I texted him a little after 4 but he didn't respond for 30 mins then it was to tell me he left again for the night. Told me "tomorrow" but I haven't heard from him. I honestly don't care if he doesn't want to see me again. I just want my glasses back but I don't want to be a pest. What do I do!? Is he intentionally hanging on to them deciding if he wants to see me again? What gives!? Ugh.

They probably do it so they will get at least a call from you later and if they don't get a call then they know it was just a one night stand.. But I wouldn't know I don't do that.

A lot of reasons... they want a return call, they were too waste and forgot. Maybe they were in a hurry to get home to BF's and forgot or they want your partner to find them.

it depends everyone is differnt!
maybe some chicks are just forgetfull
maybe some want to get you into trouble incase you had a girlfriend!
some just want you to remember so you'll call them!
some just don't care!
I have never left anything on my stands!
