Caffeine can affect your sinuses, it is a mild vasoconstrictor and stimulant which means it constricts your blood vessels. Antihistamines and pseudoephedrine are also mild vasoconstrictors. When you restrict bloodflow to your sinuses it can help ease the feeling of stuffiness.
