practice, start off ur swing slowly and dont try to kill the ball, all this will do is leave the club face open and produce the dreaded banana slice, the faster ur downswing is the more u need to roll the wrists, thats why i advised u to slow the swing down a little bit that way u dont have to try and time everything together.

good luck im me if u need more help

Swing the club as fast as you can smoothly through the ball. Practice hearing the maximum swooshing sound just after where the ball would be if it were there.

Imagine that the ball is sitting in the middle of a clock face with the 12 pointing at the target. Swing through the ball from the 7 to the 1 keeping your head behind the ball until after the club swings through itit is struck..

Golf is a game of balance and tempo. A good swing is one that gets you to the ball, with the club traveling more or less down the target line, and contact in the center of the club. The clubhead speed is generated by making the smoothest swing possible. Swinging hard causes both balance and tempo to go out the window. I find that most of my students benefit from slowing down to 1 second from the time they take the club away from the ball until impact. This is your tempo. professional golfers range from .9 to 1.1 seconds in their tempo.

Absolutely practice a slower., more deliberate swing. Close your eyes and feel your balance.

When you take the club back, only go as far as your lead shoulder coming under your chin. This will get you to the point where your body is coiled the tightest. Then swing down and through the ball, not moving your head until your trailing shoulder moves your chin up.

I have video of me on the range on my website, if you want to see a demonstration.

Rhythm. Tempo. Strong grip. Still head. Focus.

Imagine your arms are a pendulum, its a tick-tock motion. Until you turn pro you don't need to worry about crushing the ball every time you swing, the extra speed with disturb your swing.

Swing smooth and steady........I've coached that method for 10 years and so far...no complaints.

A good tip is to watch an experienced golfer do it and try and see yourself doing the same motion, then with just a club...pracitise, finally introduce the ball, but make sure its presense doesn't make you change your swing. Its inconsequential that the ball is there, your swing will hit the bal, no matter what !!

Oh.....and PRACTISE !!!!

Take a 7 iron and put some weight on the club head, like some lead or something. Try swinging it, you'll get the correct flow of the club swing. Or you could try practising swinging 2 clubs together.
I play off 8 so its worked for me.

This easy: contact me with your address, and I will send you a video of my swing. Watch the video carefully, taking note of everything I do. Then, make sure you DON'T do any of THAT, and you will likely have a good golf swing!

Seriously, you need proper setup and alignment of shoulders, feet, and hips. Then, you must reach back and extend backward away from your body on plane with the ball before begining your upswing. Keep your head down and still, eyes on the ball, all the way through the upswing, and downswing until contact. Rotate your hips through contact and follow through on your target line. You should really talk to a pro, but that is the essentials (I think).

The question is easy...the answer is probably the hardest one there is.
There are so many factors that come into play. The only real way to find what suits you (and golf is a very personal game ) is to talk to a golf pro at your local club and have a few lessons. It will cost you of course but the alternative is to listen to a load of amateurs..(like on here, me included ) and get absolutely nowhere.

Make sure it is a fluid movement.
never stop in mid swing or at the top of it.
Always look at the back of the ball even after you have hit it!
the head is a problem for most so keep it down!!!
Also dont swing so far back so that you can see it on tyhe other side through your left eye!
Only go to vertical.
HOPE THIS HELPS

You'll get a lot of different answers to this one. Generally a good golf swing delivers the clubface at the moment of impact squarely and at top speed.
