Okay I have your problem, and here is some serious answers that I have researched/been told. First of all, still eat healthy, dont stuff yourself silly, and do excercise.

Eat higher calorie fruits and veggies (bananas, carrots, apples basically any fruit and veggie that is not watery.

protein! Eat lean meat, eat peanutbutter, ask your doctor about taking some protein powder, my doc prescribed me some to take, and it actually doesn't taste to bad.

Eat healthy high calorie foods like nuts, legumes, wheat crackers.

Never be plain. Top your toast with maregines made with healthy fats, peanut butter, jelly. add cheese to your scrambled eggs. This will add calories without filling you up. Cook with healthy olive oil and sprinkle it on your saled, add eggs, crackers and other filling stuff to your salads. fill omelets with cheese and veggies. Order creamy soups.

Swich to whole grains, there healthier and more calorie dense. Eat complex carbohydrates, not loads of sugar.

Eat 3 meals and at least 3 snacks.

here are some healthy high calorie snack ideas.

1. plain full fat yogurt and frozen berries blended together and some peanuts mixed, makes a great dip.

2. Cheesy garlic bread made with whole wheat bread.

3.peanut butter on toast with bananas washed down with full fat milk.

4.whole wheat blueberry muffins, or pancakes

5. Pasta!

6. homemade pizza.

Now, If you wanna gain weight but still be healthy do weight training and resistance excercises. Do crunches, and buy hand and ankle weights, and use them. And jump rope too, or swim.remember muscle ways more than fat!

At your age, I would not be too concerned about gaining weight just yet. I would be more concerned about staying healthy and active. Be sure to get lots of physical activity in your day and in order to keep up with your metabolism you need to eat often. I would recommend making yourself eat every 2 hours or so. Food needs to become like a medicine. Something you do regularly for your health. Make sure you eat plenty of fruits, veggies and grains. Try to have at least 3 of the 4 food groups in every meal and 2 of the 4 in every snack. This makes the food more efficient for your body to use and will hopefully help you reach your goals.

Eating larger portions of healthy, nonprocessed foods will help. Just as in the opposite of weight loss, weight gain means you have to eat more calories than you burn during the day. You are young and probably have a high metabolism, which makes it a challenge.

My real advice to you is learn to appreciate what you have. There is nothing wrong with being slender. If your body feels good and healthy than I would leave things the way they are.

The best thing you can do is talk to your doctor and go with his/her recommendation. If you don't want to do that, the healthiest way to gain weight is to eat healthy foods, exercise and strength train. Eat things that are high in carbs and fiber, lots of fruits and veggies, and drink lots of water. Do not eat a bunch of junk food or fried food to gain weight! It is extremely unhealthy and will cause health problems in the future.

I would not start messing with your metabolism. You could ruin it for life if you put on too much at one time. And then loose. I agree totally with like yourself the way you are. I did not start "filling" out until around 16. I am still small but, curvy. Just eat right and healthy. Stay fit.

Get a weight gainer like N-Large2. It has a lot of carbs and at the same time just about the most of amount of protein your body can digest properly in one hour. I bought chocolate--it might come in vanilla and strawberry too. It is just powder that you can mix with water, or milk for even more calories, to make a shake. I also suggest using weights to tone your muscles.

I have the same problem as you, except I am 26, 6'5", and 165 pounds (I don't know how to convert pounds to stone). I gave up on weight gainer shakes because most of them out there are chocked full of protein and I wasn't working out enough to utiilize the protein for my muscles. Plus, I am no longer in a financial situation to be spending money on name brand weight gainers. So, I just bought a 50 pound bag of maltodextrin which is basically pure corn starch, except that it is soluble in water. It is pure carbohydrates, no fat, no protein. I add about five little scoops of that to 24 fluid ounces of water, add a tad bit of sugar, and lemon juice for flavor and blend on high. I haven't done the conversion yet, but it consists of about 4 calories per gram. Doesn't taste bad at all. If you add fruit juice powder, like Koolaid, or lemonade powder to it in place of lemon juice, it tastes just like a thicker fruit juice drink or lemonade. I even add about two to three tablespoons of Canola oil, because Canola oil has 120 calories per tablespoon: no trans fat. Maltodextirn is really cheap: about 1.50 US Dollars per pound. Good luck and wish me good luck too!

Instead of eating fatty, greasy foods, fill up on protein and good fats. You can find good fats in nuts, meat, cheese, and milk. Load up on veggies and fruits. You don't need to increase your intake of junk food to attain a healthier weight.

Exercise may seem redundant since you are trying to gain weight and not lose it, but you don't want to build up fat just put on weight. You need to tone your body instead of burning fat. Lift dumbells for definition in your arms and do lunges for your legs.

chill out...enjoy being a girl and when you are a woman....welll...you will probably be having the opposite problem. Stop reading fashion magazines and other crap that holds an image of what you 'are supposed to look like'. Its all bullshit and doesn't bring happiness. Music, friends, food , family...focus on what matters and you will be just fine. God bless!(and no...i am not a christian)
