I just found out that my parents are Second cousins! This is about the sickest thing i've ever even heard of!!

First off, there is nothing you can do about it.
Secondly, it's really not that big of a deal. Cousins have been marrying since the beginning of time, it's not even considered incest. Now if they were brother and sister, I would be worried. I personally would not want to be with my cousin, but I don't think it is disgusting, just weird. And no there have never been birth defects from cousins having children together, that only pertains to siblings which is definately disgusting.

I'd be more concerned if they were first cousins. Quit getting your panties in a bunch. You must be pretty young and not very knowledgeable if this is the sickest thing you've ever heard.

DO they know that you know? How did you fid out? Are you certain that you have correct info. I would double-check it! If it is true, GROSS!! I am so sorry that you will have to deal with that, but you will probably have to live with it.....they are your parents, who raised you and loved you and cared for you. Still the same people that you love. You will have to learn how to deal or cut them out.
