Won't hurt them at all. My kitten did the same thing, it was pretty impossible for me to keep them apart. The vet said that was fine. Make sure it's a good brand like Iams or Eukanuba

Do not give your cat anything with grease in it. Or milk. Monday morning, call the vet. Put down fresh water twice a day. Could be your cat got into a plant or something else. Cats are animals, not people. They can eat grown up cat food, it won't hurt them. The worming medicine is not causing the problem. You said it was a couple of weeks ago that the medicine was given and you would have seen bad results sooner than this if it was the medicine. I think Kitty will be o.k. until Monday. It is Friday now, so call in a couple of days to the vet. In the meantime, do not give kitty any table scraps. It might have animal fat in it and it will cause more diarrhea. Good luck. The fact that you even asked for advice shows you care.

It isn't necessarily bad but it can lead to diet deficiencies. Kitten food is formulated to give extra calcium and anti-oxidants for growing bodies. Switching the older cats back is not wise either as they need the nutrients in the adult food. If it is only 1/5 of your kittens' diets then I would not be terribly concerned. Just make sure that they are still eating mostly kitten food.

Well, yes and no. It depends on how old the kittens are. If they are still little babies, then it isn't really good for them. Because they need the proteins that are in the kitten food. But, if they are almost full grown cats, then it is okay. So, it really depends on how old the kittens are.

It will make the older cats gain weight but it won't do any harm. As for the kittens, they need certain nutrients found in kitten food so your best bet is to mix both foods and or switch to kitten food all together.

Try to make the kittens eat their kitten food as it has vital nutrients and minerals to help the grow up strong and healthy. As for the older Cats eating kitten food, it will not hurt them but if they eat to much it could cause they to gain a lot of weight.

It won't hurt them, it also wouldn't hurt the older ones if you switched for now to kitten food. Of course if you wanted to keep them on the kitten chow and the older ones on the adult food feed them in different areas and don't leave adult food down if you must leave food down.

I've been told that the only difference between the two cat foods is that the kitten food has more protien in it to help them grow. It really isn't harmful for them, but idealy they should only be eating the kitten food.

Eating adult cat food won't hurt the kittens and eating kitten food won't hurt the adult cats. If you read the labels, there's really not that much difference. Just feed a good quality catfood (not the cheap stuff) and all of them will be fine
