sautee some fresh sweet onions and fresh mushrooms in a bit of butter. Add salt, pepper and a pinch of Thyme or Poultry Seasoning and then the rice. It is easy and tastes really good.

I love Worchestershire sauce! Also gravy tastes great with it. When cooking rice, you can use a can of cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup and add dry rice, boil, set and then enjoy very tasty rice!

Replace the cooking water with broth (chicken, vegetable or beef). After it's cooked, add some chopped chicken or beef and some broccoli and a splash of soy sauce.

Freshly chopped herds, parsley, oregano, basil, just to name a few. Add them when the rice is done cooking. Stir them in or sprinkle on top if you want them to be seen, or both.
