No, what actually happens is that people with no tolerance and a stupid 'holier than thou' attitude report you and your question.
Yahoo answers do not have humans checking out what is offensive or not so ANY report is accepted as gospel by a computerised process which means you can lose points and be threatened with cancelling your sign in for nothing.
It makes me sick that these small minded people who are a tiny minority that can have such a big influence on what can and cannot be asked & answered.

staggering question and that i might rather like YAHOO to put in an answer for you in this one :) even nonetheless, the respond isn't decrease and dried and numerous different variable come into play. at first, what human beings think of a few question is a subjective adventure. This additionally brings into play the flaws that shape our life (i.e the place we are from: values, mores, norms and so on, religious/religious values, or maybe our senses of humour and so on) for this reason, what's "offensive" to a minimum of one individual won't be construed as "offensive" to a various. Secondly, there is as gadget in place to alter this (i.e person rules) however the degree to which it rather is powerful, i assume is the crux of the difficulty. I have not got any doubt that maximum folk attempt and do the superb element. constructive there are human beings there who intentionally "troll"/galvanize. I even have had a question bumped off and that i can assure you that it wasn't offensive. yet crap happens. additionally in connection with this, at situations I see that folk have additionally written solutions that are actually not suitable, yet they did not do it to be jerks. They have been in simple terms giving the question the contempt it merits. i think of that the superb thank you to handle this situation is to not according to probability speculate approximately it, yet get yahoo to repair it. AND if there are nicely common hardship makers, they are able to situation an exceptionally final probation era. If this era is violated they are completely bumped off. As i suggested, it is not that easy. Like everythng else, yahoo has bureaucratic purple tape.

Yeah - I got spanked the other day when I called a guy a slang term for female genitalia (and yeah OK, I could have called him something more acceptable) because he was whining about an ex gf.....and how he couldn't forget her or get over her..Jeez,,,.I about puked because he was so pathetic - apparently he couldn't handle hearing the truth and reported me. He's probably still crying about his ex gf that lives across the street and is doing guys left and right.....

I think you're correct - that, plus other folks tend to report stuff they find offensive. I don't know how soon after something gets reported it gets yanked, but I've seen things that were totally
bland get pulled over the least little thing! Don't worry, it's not just you!!! keep on asking!!!
