Thats really tough, you cant no do that in one day. Thats really sensitive. The only responsible thing you can do, is sit down with her on a evening and discuss where the relationship is heading, and if it gets awkward just bring up some of the good times you have had, and make her aware you will always be there for her no matter what (as a friend) if you can make that commitment to her. The reason you give is ultimately down to you, if its no love, you cant say that, that will break her heart. If she is the understanding type just make her aware of how much you care for her, if she gets really angry, let her, but dont retaliate she will come around. But give her comfort.
I wish you all the best! Its guna be well tuff!!

Dump? a bit of a harsh word, DO NOT use that word when explaining that you don't want to be with her, use the term "breaking up" i find that a lot more nicer and would more likely to accept your decision in the matter.
However things aren't easy so sorry to tell you but she may hate you for a few months, but if you just stay away for a bit she'll get used to it and you'll be back to friends again (hopefully. it just depends how the situation turns out)
ermm... good luck?

take her out on a date with your new girlfriend and then introduce the old girlfriend as your friend.(she may get the hint - mine did not). alternatively juts tell her you want to be on your own, Ti's not her, you just want to be on your own.. make sure you don't see any one around this time or say its for another women and hope that she will still be your friend, but sadly she may not want to know after that.

Let her down slowly, talk to her and tell her how you feel. Ask if you can still be friends and its not her fault that you're breaking up but DON'T do it over the phone, arrange to meet somewhere and make sure she's alone, (don't scare her though)!

By being honest!
she probably wants to dump you as well, but can´t find a way.
Wouldn´t that be a funny coincidence?

Why do you care? If you want to dump someone it means you don't want them in your life anymore. this universal attempt "to still be friends..." is one of the stupidest ideas in our society.

Ask her opinion on your relationship and tell her yours. tell her friends is the only way you feel comfortable. tell her you still want 2 b friends and you do love as only a friend.
