It's cruel, inhumane and animals feel pain.

I think testing should be done on lifetime criminals in prisons. Let them finally give something back to society that way.

Ask the experimenters why they experiment on animals, and the answer is: 'Because the animals are like us.' Ask the experimenters why it is morally OK to experiment on animals, and the answer is: 'Because the animals are not like us.' Animal experimentation rests on a logical contradiction.

Besides saving countless animal lives, alternatives to animal tests are efficient and reliable. Unlike crude, archaic animal tests, non-animal methods usually take less time to complete, cost only a fraction of what the animal experiments they replace cost, and are not plagued with species differences that make extrapolation difficult or impossible. Effective, affordable, and humane research methods include studies of human populations, volunteers, and patients, as well as sophisticated in vitro, genomic, and computer-modeling techniques.

Its inhumane
Its cruel
We have no right to exploit innocent animals.
Animals are living feeling beings too.
Animals were not put here for us to torture them or use them for our gain.
Honestly and truly feel if its for our needs then you know what there are hundreds of serial killers sitting in prison wasting tax dollars and will never feel the pain they have caused, they should be used for testing or the ones sitting on death row. Not the innocent animals that will never benefit from the torture we caused them.

At one time in history it was thought that a witch did not feel pain - so it was ok to torture them to get a confession and burn them at the stake. It was ok to kill the natives because they did not have a sole. It was ok to publicly preform vivisection on dogs because they didn't really feel pain. As we learn more scientifically we now know differently. While we do all we can to make humans comfortable while undergoing medical treatments - the same is not true of animals. They are somehow thought of as expendable and outside the realm of humane consideration. In a way not different than torture.

Because animals feel pain too-they are not machines made to serve our purposes, we are supposed to respect them..No, they aren't human, but they are alive. Therefore they deserve at least a bit of respect and care instead of throwing them away like trash..I will never understand the lack of caring for animals in humans..It's sad.

Besides the pain caused to animals, they are unreliable (thalidomide was "proven" safe following animal tests) and there are other ways to get the desired information.

Animals feel pain. End of story. With all the technology we have today I think we probably have more sophisticated ways of determing the benifits or diasvantages of any particular item.

It's inhumane, discusting, undeserving, painful, there are no good reasons .....I think we should test products on child molesters. Think of how accurate the results would be....

Cause we need to test them on human instead, preferably babies from abortion clinics. Time to put them in good use since we can't have them for stem cells research.
