I wouldn't want her to ask me too much, it would feel more like an exam than a date. I would suggest just having relaxed casual conversation, and if your question actually pertains to what you happen to be discussing at that moment, then asking is fine. If you just Interrogate the guy, your gonna scare him off.

Anything really except work or money. I don't want to talk about work unless I'm at work. Talking or asking about money makes me feel like that is why the girl may be interested in me.

For me, all subjects are fair game except past relationships. I don't talk about my ex's and I don't want to hear about hers. It's over and done with in my book and leads to unforeseen problems when comparisons are made.
