When you scann the photo save it to a file. Then when you are ready to email it you can attach that file. But you have to remember where you saved it

Scan the photo and then upload it to Flickr's website. Yahoo! owns Flickr so all you need to do is create an account and sign in with your Yahoo! password. Next, send an e-mail message to your friend(s) with the link to your photos on Flickr. BTW, if you never heard of Flickr, Flickr is a online photo sharing network.

usually after you scan it it should go to your pictures. but wherever you see the picture you scanned, right click on it and it should say send to or something like that

Just attach the picture like you would any other file.
