Whenever my boyfriend calls, I seem to have nothing to say to him. It doesn't make sense because when we're together, it's nonstop talking. I'm 25, he's 29. Can someone give me some simple, yet thought provoking topics to talk about when he calls? Thank you!

Some people just aren't phone people. Maybe you are one of those people. Like my boyfriend and I hardly talk on the phone unless we are talking about something juicy. But most of the time we just call to speak-you know the usual- and stuff. But some topics to talk about is your next date, or whats going on in the world and how he feels about it, how his day went and what made it good or bad. Or just accpet the fact that maybe the two of you aren't a phone couple, but thats not bad.

Well, maybe youre just not a phone talker. Its more important to talk in person I think. I never have anything to say to my hubby when he calls so I just say Ill see ya later. Neither of us really like talking on the phone but we talk all the time at home. Dont worry about it unless you never get to see your bf and the phone is your only communication. Save the good conversation for being together. Hey if you want to talk about things on the phone, talk about all the nutty questions and answers you see on this site!

I'm the same way. My problem is that I don't like the telephone. I say what I have to say and get off. I would much rather have the visual interaction when I am telling a story or listening to one. Don't worry about it. It's not a big deal. It's just easier to find something to say when your face to face.

no need to wrry about that.. if your communication is best in person, then thats awesome! talk about how your day was, and about his.. talk about what you might be going through... but you don't have to make phone calls memorable... lets be honest, its a phone call. being together should be more focused on.. not to worry my friend!
or theres a possibility that you two cal each other too much, making it impossible to have something else to talk about?!

Politics,wines,weather,cars,fashion,family,age,shoes,PC'S,friends and food OMG honey anything cause the last thing you want is that akward monent of silence,it really sucks when you both know it's akward and then say the same thing at the same time!!!
