If I had the money...here is what I would do:
I would leave a note for her to find when she got off work. The note would tell her that her bag was packed and car would be arriving shortly to take her to the airport. There she would board a flight to a romantic destination. There would be one of those guys holding a sign for her at arrival airport. She would be driven to the hotel and handed her room key. When she arrived at the room, I would be there on my knee in a tux surrounded by several bouquet of roses.
But, that is if I had the money.

The particulars aren't as important as the thought that goes into the proposal. I asked my BF not to get on 1 knee when he proposes beacuse there's only 1 reason to do that and once I see it, I won't be able to listen to anything he says cause I know what he's about to ask...I just want him to say something special, and ask. Of course, I already know the answer is yes!

I think every woman imagines the "perfect proposal" in the perfect setting with the perfect guy. It's all in what he says. It shouldn't matter where you are or what you're doing. If he speaks from the heart, that should be perfect enough for anyone.

They way i was proposed to was just fine with me. In the end, the most important thing, is that it is done and done with class.

Well, here's how my hubby did it:
The company he was working for at the time took their employees to Mexico round Christmas time every other year, that year we went to los Cabos. He was pretty sneaky bout it; you know getting the rings, letting everyone else in on it, even my bosses at work.
Well, we get there and on the Saturday night we went to Cabo San Lucas for a night on the town, he wanted to go back to the resort kinda early. I thought he was just tired or something. He says, "Let's go for a walk on the beach." I said, "OK" So we went and watched the waves for a bit and then he said, "Remember I told you that you would get a ring when it was THE ring?" He got down on one knee on the beach in the moonlight and asked me to marry him (of course I said yes) and then it got pretty mushy from there.
Now the irony in this is that my hubby is 6'4" and weighs bout 320 and looks like a bouncer at a biker bar (well he actually was at one point).
How romantic is that???

My case, the guy just stood on his knee in my fave restaurant holding out a ring. So boring :(( But that works with most people.

I think if its a suprise, no matter what the setting, then it will be special. If the person knows that they are about to be purposed to then it kinda takes the spark out of it.
