Has anyone ever used 'Bill Me Later' on the Walmart website? Is it a smart thing to do? It said no interest until January 2007 - which caught my eye for Christmas shopping this year. Advice?

I use Bill Me Later. If you go to their website, billmelater.com, you see that even Petco, and other sites use it too.

I have never had any problems. It works like a credit card but I always try to keep my balance very low or at zero, and use it as a backup. Their payment transactions are safer than using a credit card online.

Walmart Buy Now Pay Later

I've used it and it went fine for me. I would suggest paying off the bill prior to December to ensure you're in the clear when it comes to accruing interest. Don't buy tons of stuff in December since you'll probably run out of money to pay off the bill and you'll get hit hard in January.

It's subject to credit approval of course.

It is like a credit card. If you can be financially responsible it is a good thing, otherwise don't use it.

The financing is about 21% I believe. If you really want that item and don't have the money, I suppose its an option!

I haven't noticed it. Read the fine print because there is probably a catch with the interest.
