that years years years ago they done that to cover up their bad smell bc not everyone could get showers all the time bc the whole family had to share the same bath water and the women were last to get in the tub.
i just thought this was interesting.

that's interesting...I just thought it was because it was pretty and the bride looks all innocent and pure holding flowers.

Aren't we glad it is for PRETTY now and not to cover the stink! I am thankful I can take a bath anytime I want and I don't have to share the bath water with ANY man I know. PERISH THE THOUGHT!

I had fake flowers thank god I could shower before I walked down the aisle!

A friend of mine and I saw these BEAUTIFUL feather fans at a renaissance faire last month. They were practically works of art and we both thought they would make a nice alternative to a flower bouquet.

No, I didn't know that. But, I do now!! I just think that they look really pretty and that it gives them something to do with there hands. Men have that problem they hold there hands different ways and they fidget! It looks funny, my wedding director instructed them to all hold there hands the same way but let them decide how they were going to do that!
