Microsoft Ecell is the most commonly used. The others mentioned here are all good too. There is also Lotus Notes but not too many people use it. If you learn one program, you should be able to use any of them because there aren't many differences. I'd start with Excell since it is the most commonly used in businesses. If you have Microsoft Office, it should be included in that. Good Luck with whatever you are trying.

There's Microsoft Excel: http://office.microsoft.com/ and also OpenOffice Calc: http://www.openoffice.org/product/calc.html . You could also look at Star Office: http://www.sun.com/software/star/staroffice/.
There will be others I'm sure. Good luck (presumably this is homework!). Hope you get an A ;-)
