i am leaving for holidays to manhattan next weekend, and i am wondering, other than the usual, what are some must sees (maybe under the radar) that you reccommend seeing! Thanks in advance!

Call 1-800-NYC-Guide/1-800-692-4843...They give you a free guide with price of hotels and raitings and coupons attractions to see and such. They also tell you what places to eat and there prices.I used the NYC Guide and we saved $50.00 in one day on are trip. Lastly it also tells you neat little facts.You wont regret doing that.

It depends what you like to do. There is some kind of street fair somewhere in the city each weekend.
You could visit Chinatown, Have lunch at a real NY deli, Shop at Macy's. Of course, there are museums galore. If you're into TV, check out the Museum of Broadcasting. I think it's on 58th St.

If you have small kids, visit The Magic Townhouse - there's a magic show geared to children; and they have very small groups so the kids get up close to the performers.

If you are into purses make sure to check out China Town for knock off Coach, Louis Vitton, Prada, etc. Purses. I Love getting a new purse from New York! You can get the styles for under $100.00 dollars depending on the purse as opposed to several hundreds of dollars.

There are several other great things to purchase in NY.
