Making a glass block wall 6' x5' x 3" in a tube steel frame with pvc pipes up the sides and top of the frame to deliver water from a basin it will be sitting in (concrete). The holes at the top of the fram will let the water out and drip peacfully down the sides of this tralucent water element.

There is a product that you can purchase at craft stores. It is called "Instant Rust"

I used it to rust a steel support for a set of drawers.

i dont believe there is any particular product designed to create rust. however, depending on the quality of pipe, you should get rust within 2 or 3 days, anyway.

obviously, dont buy galvanized pipe, or any other kind of treated metal. standard black carbon pipe, if left outside, will definitely develop rust within 2 or 3 days.
