You will ultimatly need antibiotics but you can use warm salt water with a little peroxide in it for relief and to kill the bacteria. I know it hurts and you must get to a dentist...clinic maybe has sliding fee if you can't afford it. good luck

Home remedies don't solve the problem even if they relieve the symptoms. Using a tea bag to draw out the 'puss'(pus) only relieves some of the pressure, not the underlying infection. the longer the infection is allowed to fester, the better the chances that it will be difficult to completely resolve. Check to be sure your insurance will give you benefits for the required treatment on day one that it kicks in--some things have a waiting period. DO NOT wait too long to get this resolved properly. Good luck!

Call you local department of health. They can get you into a dentist. An abscess is an infection and you need antibiotics right away. IF that is what you have--but only a dentist can diagnose that.

You absolutely need professional care immediately. You are gambling with your health in a very bad way. And yes, there are pain killers out there that would help you but it would be highly irresponsible for anyone to tell you what they are and risk giving you the choice of NOT getting help. Go to the local emergency room if nothing else. Go now.

There is no cure for an abscessed tooth, you need to go to the dentist or to a doctor, so he/she can start you on antibiotics.

Get to the dentist for some antibiotics, have the source of the infection extracted or repaired, as a serious infection can get into your bloodstream and kill you. HELLO!!!!!!

The best alternative is clove oil...However, it has to be reapplied often with a cotton swab and the taste is not that good. It worked for me.
