I bartend in a tourist town and I don't think I have had that one ordered before. The strange looks are only because its something they haven't heard before. I only heard of using rootbeer instead of redbull just a couple of weeks ago. See what kind of looks you get ordering a redheaded sl-t. Its a shot with Jager, peach schnapps, and cranberry juice. or drink it on the rocks if you want to take your time.

I get a splash of coke as a chaser sometimes. It is not bad and it cuts the twang of Jager. If you get strange looks, give them strange looks right back. They don't know what tastes good to you those dirty buggers!

Well it sounds a bit...interesting. I'd say try it with red bull!
And you might just find that the strange looks dissappear and the nice girls start appearing!

Peace!

UK marketing has been pretty non existant, and so I would say the drink is a lot less common than say in Europe.

Maybe it is because you screwed up the name so badly? I cannot even imagine how you would pronounce this nice german name?

It's Jaegermeister, meaning the master of hunters.
