So this guy asked me while he was drunk if I would be his girlfriend, and I told him no, that he had to ask me while he was sober. So since I turned him down he's made up this huge story about us and now his family hates me. I believe it was right to turn him down when he was drunk because I didn't really know how he felt about me. Am I wrong, and guys does this upset you if a girl does this to you?

His family also happens to be my best friends family and I am around them all the time. Most of them love me but there are a few of them that just absolutely cannot stand to be in the same room with me, and I really don't understand what I did wrong.

You did the right thing. He sounds like a real jerk. Who cares if his family hates you? You are not his girlfriend anyway and think about it if he is saying "bad" things about you just because you turned him down then do you really give a crap what his family or he says about you?

You are either not in the right circle or are trying to get in and are not yet accepted. That is why you keep meeting jerks. Try not to focus on meeting people anymore. Focus on you and then when you know for darn sure there's nothing not to like, then get at 'em, the good ones.

I think u are right. dont bother yourself. men are not reliable when they are sober what will happen if they are drunken too.
