Ok as everyone know i'm dating this guy for almost a year which my sister doesn't like or approve of, i'm now planning to live with my big brother but my sister told our brother about the guy i'm dating that he's no good (which is not true) and i deserve someone better, my brother now wants me to stop talking to my boyfriend because of what my sister as told him. I love my boyfriend very much and he loves me also but what should i do in convincing them that i'm not a child anymore and they can't tell me who i'm to be with from who i'm not to be with?

The first person you have to think about is yourself, not your brother, not your sister, and not your boyfriend. If your boyfriend makes you happy, then just let it be. You don't have to change anything or convince anybody- sooner or later, your brother and sister will see how good he is to you.
SHOW them how happy you and your boyfriend are, because talking and explaining is just a waste of time.

Well I dont know the whole story behind your sister hating your BF, why doesnt she like him? Has he done something to you in the past?
I think your siblings are just looking out for you. What you can do is have dinner, all four of you, and have a civil conversation, like adults and see where all this crazy talk is coming from. This will be an opportunity to show your family that your man, is in deed, a good guy (assuming he really is).

Kary, i do no longer see what the subject is. You suggested that your 2 cousins are relationship your guy's 2 brothers precise? Then why could you're able to initiate yet another courting because of the fact of that? Or get married until you get out of school. like the other person said let your boyfriend meet you brother and you let them talk and let him decide for him self if your boy friend isn't any good. just sit down and talk to your brother and tell him how you feel about your boyfriend and tell him you want him to meet him.some time a person can dislike another person because of what people say about that person but when they get to know that person they might feel different about that person.

talk to them an just ask for them to listen for 5 min to u. explain how u feel about him an tell them how important they r to u an u r glad they care about u,but if they do care to give him a chance. an bring him around more, maybe they can see some thing u cant. love does blind us. give it a time line with them. an do not tell him an see if he is as good as u think. ur family just love u so listen an talk to them.

You need to come straight out and tell them. If you feel so strongly that they are treating you like a child, then if your old enough maybe you should not be living with them. if you want to stop being treated like a child. Starting living like one.
