No, its not right. If I found out someone was using my social security benefits I would hunt them down and kill them. I worked WAY too hard for SS benefits, but luckily I get a quarterly statement from the Social Secuirty Administration that keeps me up to date with my balance and how much I've contributed into it, as well as my hubby. As for a deceased family members, well, my mom passed away a few years and not sure if I have any legal recourse to check to see if someone is actually using her number, but I doubt it since everything is computer now, they would know that she's deceased so I'm not sure they could even use it.

How do the majority of these people acquire these social security cards... & identities...... Well they buy them from the owners the majority of the times. I have seen this with my own eyes.... An American born no matter the race my acquire as many certified copies of his birth certificates as he wants.... his social security card also.... he then sells them in sets to illegal people and charges them $2,500 for the set.... he then turns around & cries identity theft once the IRS starts asking questions about his income reported on his Social Security number. I know that there are people also who have their identities stolen outright... but that is not always the case.

It is a CRIME to use another persons social security number, in fact it is the most serious type of crime, a FELONY.
The penalty for using a social security number not legally issued to you is 25 years in federal prison and a $250,000.00 fine.
If an illegal alien is committing this crime, he or she will be deported to their own country after serving 25 years in federal prison.
The FBI classifies use of a social security number which was not legally issued to you as : Identity Theft.

The United States Social Security Administration defines all social security numbers which are "made up", "imaginary", "borrowed", "bought", "stolen", or obtained by use of false ID or false information as STOLEN, a FELONY.

If you know of someone committing the FELONY of using a social security number which does not legally belong to them, which was not issued legally to them by the United States Social Security Administration with their LEGAL identification and LEGAL birth certificate, that person should be turned in to the FBI.

Of course not! But unfortunatly it seems through political correctness, that illegals have more rights than legals.
