I recently read at the vets office that artificial suger sweetners can cause severe liver damage in dogs. It said something like if a 22 lb dog ate 1 gram it could still cause big problems. I feed my dogs a special dog ice cream called frosty paws for their sweet tooths :)

It is not good to feed a dog any people food. Small amounts of cheese for training purposes is an exception as is peanut butter if it helps them take medication. Feeding a dog what you eat leads the dog to think of you as a Pack equal instead of a pack Alpha making it a lot harder to maintain a well behaved dog.

I vote for no people food whatsoever, especially sweets! Dogs' systems are different from ours and dog food best meets their needs. Sure, they look at you with those sad eyes and look so cute, but it is in their best interest to stick to healthy dog treats. My vet told me that if you just must give them "people" food, give them veggies (within reason) or chicken and rice. My doberman loved carrots and tofu!

No that stuff really isn't good for them...A great treat would be a piece of cheese or a carrot dipped in peanut butter...Some thing like that your dog will LOVE and its good for him/her

No it's not okay. It's bad for them. As a matter of fact that stuff isn't even good for humans. Full of sugar and other crap no one should eat.

I don't know why anyone would feed their pet stuff like that but here's a resource for you.
