I am looking for railroad jobs in Virginia, is there any particular site that makes it that much easier? SIgnal Maintainer in Virginia is what I am looking for....thank you

Try Norfolk Southern or CSX. I believe they both have lines in Virginia.

Of course you will be working under the Hours of Service so if you have a problem with drugs or booze you're wasting your time, as well as everyone elses.

get a job with a class 2 then once you have your license go to the class 1 where the pay and benefits are. The unions arent as strong as they used to be. the railroad here is a class 1 and even hired engineers off the street they are supposedly not suppose to be able to do that but they did and got away with it.
