Ha ha Tiger. Very funny. There actually isn't anything in there about it. King Solomon had many many wives and so did King David. However, in the new testament, in order to be an overseer of the church, the bible said that you must have but one wife. I think having one wife or one husband just brings more balance, wars and differences is bad enough without adding a whole herd to the matters!

Read Genesis 2 and 3...
Where it talks about two becoming one...how can you do this with additional spouses? You can't.
Take a look at Adam and Eve. Eve was taken from Adam's rib (Hebrew meaning the other side). We were split in the beginning and coming together in marriage makes us one again. It can't be done with additional spouses.

I believe the Bible sex any form of sex before marriage is sinful. However, the Bible allows divorce in only one senario which is where one of the people in the marriage is unfaithful, then you can get divorced and re-married. I think according to the Bible, that is the only way out of a marriage and into a re-marriage.

well, i think it says that if you are a 14 year old uneducated boy who is visited by an angel with a sword who tells you where to find a set of golden plates in the hillside in upsate new york, then you are more than welcome to pass go, collect 200 dollars AND take as many wives as your sick and twisted mind will allow you to conjure up....INCLUDING the wives of men who YOU send on missions across the world in order to keep them busy while you shag their wife. hmmmmm....i think all perverts should start a really screwed up church.
didnt you read about mormonism in the bible? it talks all about how the native americans are really jewish people who came over here to start the new and everlasting gospel and prepare for the second coming of christ to be held in new zion...IE...MISSOURI...which, by the way, was where the garden of eden was.
by the way, i dont believe this crap. i was just hand fed it by my parents all my life. i woke up and found my brain and it's capacity to reason and THINK when i was in my early twenties.
