If the date went GREAT and there is a second one in the works, flowers would begin to win her over!!!!! Good LUCK!

I wouldn't know I have never been given flowers but I would say that it would be nice and romantic if it is only a few flowers but if you bring A LOT it could be over the top.

I'd say a few flowers is nice - don't go overboard with a dozen longstemmed roses, tho! - that would be a bit much after only one date. I'm quite sure you could find something suitable at a florists - or even tell the lady behind the counter what you have in mind & what it's for - they could suggest something "just right".
Good luck & have fun!!!

I think it's charming. But don't send them to her workplace. Some women don't discuss their private lives much at work, or may not want to reveal their dating habits, or at least until the relationship is a more mature one.
Something very simple in the card keeps it from being "over the top" Don't get too sentimental, or emotional.

Thats a sweet idea. I just hope the first date goes well enough to warrant a bunch of flowers.

awww... very nice. if she snarls her nose up at flowers then something is wrong. dont get a dozen roses or anything (too formal) but just a nice bouquet would do the trick.

Try just one flower (that's NOT a Rose, it's too cliche). Try a tulip. Mix it up a bit.
