This is just a hy-po-thetical (sp?) question. I'm simply interested in how people would go about accomplishing this, in interesting and creative ways.

turn it into a business venture advertise and maybe dollar for dollar you can convince ppl that they need to spend all of their money to please God. teach tithing and see how many ppl's faith you can destroy. teach them to buy their way into eternity. you'll get loads of money and burn up in the lake of fire just like all the other lying, coniving, faith-stealing pastors in the world today.
or just burn it down. you'll do more for God that way.

... in interesting and creative ways... Hummm-m, let me say this: Why not try "the truth"? The Bible is right because it is the Word of God. "All scripture is given by inspiration of God...". (2Timothy 3:16). You will also learn that God's Word is truth. "Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth." (John 17:17). Not only does the Bible give the right answers, but it answers all questions that we need to ask. In 2 Timothy 3:16-17 we continue to read that "All scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works." Hebrews 6:18 also tells us that it is "... impossible for God to lie...". You do not "join" the church. All baptized believers are "added to" the church.

Speak to different pastors in the area.
depending on what denominatio, you can seek out those denominational headquarters and get advice from them and see what legal issues are involved concerning tax exempt status and things of that nature.

You preach the word of God from the bible. Day after day after day. Just as the apostles did, in the book of Acts, and God "added to their numbers". There is no magic trick. The word, truly spoken, is what people want, even if they might not know it.
