there isnt just one thing that can strengthen your body. a variety of activities and exercises is the best/sure thing. yoga is good, so is pilates. however you need some cardio (running, aerobic class, treadmill, eleptical, etc) and possible some weights thrown in there. not much weight, mind you, unless you want to show defined muscles. but just enough to tone and firm up. this could be around 10-20 depending on desired look and starting strength. good luck! nothing is better than a high after working out.
