I blow dry and straighten my hair every day and as told to use a product to protect my hair from the heat. I wanted something very light that wouldn't coat my hair or make it feel like straw so i tried Tresemme heat tamer and loved it at first but lately it has been drying ot my hair. I was wondering if anyone has found another heat protection spray that really works to keep hair healthy but isn't too thick.

I lot of those grocery store hair products work but inevitably dry out your hair. I have tried MANY products to see which ones work best. You need a whole product system to make it effective. I have found out that for hair straightening, when your hair is still wet, use Paul Mitchell Skinny Syrum. and after you dry your hair, use Paul Mitchell Straight Works. Then straighten your hair! Its a little pricy but the product lasts a while and its worth it! Believe me.

I use Nexxus Heat Protect. Its lightweight and makes ure hair really soft. Or the MAtrix brand i know it comes in an orange bottle. that too is really good.
Before i dry my hair i put Aussie Dual Personality Mousse. coz it has a leave in conditioner too. then after i dry and before i straighten i use the Nexuss!
Great question!
