If you 'excommunicate' a network, does that stop them from broadcasting, since broadcasting is communication? If not, it should. That would be really funny. We could do it to Faux news.

Would that make a difference?

The BBC is a multi-cultural organisation, run in essence by the head of the Church of England. Therefore, any decision taken by the Vatican would surely not make the blindest bit of difference.

On a serious note, however, did that not occur shortly after a certain film, containing a certain song, by Monty Python was aired on the BBC?? ;o)

The BBC isn't Catholic. Most likely, being English, it's Protestant. Asking the protestants of England about the catholics isn't a good idea. They've disagreed with each other since like Henry VIII. Their portrayal of the Catholic church is bigoted.

The vatican means nothing to me and they shouldn't have such an influence on people. Why are people so afraid of the "vatican" I'll never understand.
