What do you mean by TARTILY? I'm going to guess a branch of sexy..
Truthfully it doesn't matter, you can't just insist she dress a certain way. you should try talking to her and assuring her that she is beautiful, because she won't dress a certain way if she doesn't feel good in her skin.
If and when she is somewhat comfortable in her skin take her to the mall and while shopping point to an out fit you would like to see her wear and ask her if would mind just trying the cloths on. if she says no insist a little (sweetly) but if she continues to say no then leave it alone and try aome other time. If she says ok, and when you see her in the outfit tell her she looks gorgeous.

Get a life, accept her for the way she is. If she dressed "tartily" you'll probably be complaining then that other blokes are ogling her! Maybe just maybe the lady has got morals & ideals which don't match yours - you want a tartily dressed girlfriend - go pick one up from a nightclub. I hope she'll see through your shallowness & dump you for a man who loves her the way she is & who allows her to dress as she pleases.

Why don't you buy her something you consider "tartily" See if she will wear it and how she looks in it. You might find out you like her better wearing what she is comfortable in.Or, she might decide she likes wearing "tartily"

Tell her!! I was in love once, madly in love. He dumbed me for my best friend who was 'tartily'. She was very feminine and rarely wore jeans & a t-shirt (unlike me). I still wonder if I had been more sexy & feminie if things might have turned out differently...all though, in retrospect Im glad it didnt.

You need to respect your girlfriend a little more, tarty is ugly... it makes girls look cheap and nasty, let her dress how she wants to!
You cant change the way someone dresses.. I give props to her you dont need to dress tarty and sluttish to get attention.. MOST girls who dress that way have low self esteem and confidence and lack attention.
Your girl is comftable in what she wears so love it or else shes too good for u =)

She needs to get comfortable dressing like that, and most people don't. Maybe Take her to the mall and slowly get her into more revealing things. One day a lace top, the next a leather brassiere lol!!!
