I have to do an informative speech for my College communications class. I don’t know what topic to use. I was thinking about doing a speech on sleeping disorders, since I have one, but that would probably be really boring.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I unfortunately, work full-time and go to school…I don’t have many hobbies.

what do you like? You could always give a how to on the chocolate chip cookie. If you go to Nestle.com they have the story of some lady named Ruth and how she gave her recipe to Nestle for a lifetime supply of chocolate. Pick something easy and with fun facts - I usually did mine on Mickey Mouse/Walt Disney...You could also pick a favorite travel spot or beach and tell them all about it

How much time does speech have to last? If shot discussion on sleep disorder, how they have effected you, and solutions you have found sound interesting. If very long you might consider the long term implications of suspension of 4 or 5Th Amendment rights. The one that guarantees speedy trial by peers.

Well I would say do something you already know about if you dont have time. Like your job (if its interesting) or your major at school. Talk about hybrid cars, or something random. Its sure to get the classes attention without boring them, and you may have fun researching the topic.

Do it on sleeping disorders, I dont think that would be boring. I would find it interesting! Plus it would be easy to write about because you know a lot about it!

I think you better use the topic that you're familar with. It will be easier to do, because you can remember all the stuff. Hmm...maybe you can tell about your workplace--how it's good to society, your music, fashion...anything that you like.

Do it on that cuz it will take less research, make it a little funny. use props to take up a little time like draw big pictures of what ur talking about.
