Is this what they think Jesus commands them to do or what?

NickOfTyne It has happened three times now. Try putting one on your bumper and see for yourself.

Maybe they are not christian. I suppose they could have been islamic, but that doesn't seem too likely where I live.

I am christian, and the reason I flip off evolutionists, atheists and democrats is that they are not following god's word. Jesus doesn't teach us to be a wimp. We are suppost to be a soldier for jesus.

A lot of Christians are angry people if you dig deep down. Some you don't even have to dig deep down. LOL. They're just plain old angry.

It's a rare jewel to find a Christian who acts in a selfless way. Praise be to them. I love them.

I would never write someone off due to their religion. Religion is pretty much superficial. You've got kind-hearted and mean-spirited people of all religions, including non-religious people.

Praise be to the kind people of the world.

I don't think those Darwin fish are intended to necessarily mock anyone. They're just saying that, hey you want to tell the whole world that you're a Christian (and probably fundamentalist)? Well, there are other opinions out there too.

Not only that, but it could mean that the person believes in evolution and is a Christian at the same time. It all depends on how you look at it.

BTW, Where can I get one of those?

That's funny. I just noticed a car in the parking lot at work that had a Darwin fish. It reminded me of everyone in here. Darwin and Evolution theory don't bother me one bit. And no, I do NOT give the finger to anyone, let alone cars wish Darwin fish on them.

I ask that ypou do not catagorize evry one who might be offended and retaliate as a Christian. I don't believe that anyone appreciates being mocked and that is exactly what that symbol is designed to do. But I would never respond to an act of bad taste with another. Two wrongs don't make a right

To have a widely recognized symbol of their beliefs converted into a symbol of what they don't believe in is seen as an insulting provocation. So they act like human beings usually do.

Hey, fine upstanding Christians used to grab blacks and hang them for nothing, taking pictures, snatching "souvenirs" off the body...

Disassociation, psychologists call it. All too human. They don't ever realize that such things demonstrate the failure of religion.

How do you know they are Christians? Everyone has middle fingers. "By their works you will know them." ;) Is your "fish" special? Because Darwin doesn't have a fish. The Christian fish is an ichthus, what does the Darwin version look like?

Personal experience or are you just trying to stir things up? I have yet to see even the most bible-thumping Catholic in my pressense flip off any darwin fish. Mostly the ones I know just shake their heads and mutter a Hail Mary.

I need to test this out for myself. I will get a magnetic Darwin fish to see the reactions people give me.

I don't think that they think that Jesus commands them to do it, but rather they are doing it to please Jesus. Many Christians do not believe in Darwin's theory of evolution, but rather wacked out notions like intelligent design. I've never actually seen someone get mad about a darwin fish.
