The best way to lose the fat in your thighs is to go on a basic diet and exercise. If your eating habits are good already, try to take in less calories and proportion your meals. Now with what your questions is asking exactly: walking fast with an incline......the incline will help build your leg muscles more than anything. If I were you, I would focus more of just walking a fast pace for about 45 minutes to an hour, for about 4 or 5 days a week. The fat will go away, and the extra calories will burn away, but you have to stick with it!

IF you attend a gym there are 2 machines that you can use to HELP tone the inner and outer thigh area. One is the hip abductor and one is the hip inductor. These machines work the very inner portion of the thigh close to the crotch area and then the area right outside of the hip before you reach your butt.

I use them every time I go to the gym and it does help tone up those areas. In addition to running on a tredmill, and the elyptical trainer and a good diet you will loose the thigh weight in no time.

YOU CANNOT SPOT REDUCE! Repeat after me, you CANNOT spot reduce. This fact has been beaten to death so I am amazed that people still ask this question. Exercise DOES NOT BURN FAT, it burns calories, a unit of energy. When the body undergoes a calorie deficit, it begins burning stored fat (converting it to calories) as energy. One's body decides where the fat will come from, and no amount of spot exercise is going to change this fact. If you lose weight in your thighs last, then you will need to lose enough weight so that your body begins losing weight in those areas.

I always walk on an incline. It seems to tighten up your butt and your legs. I usually walk about 2 miles @ 4 miles/hour.
