Are they almost the same, does one get paid more, does one have to spend more time in school and what is the job outlook for them? No funny answers please.

pretty much the same, CPT is CPT. The physicians will ask you to be more creative in upcoding and such so they will pay better if you can do this without going to jail.

A facilty coder works for an intitution, such as a hospital or nursing home. A physician coder works in a doctors office. Both are coder specialists.
